MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)

Online MBAAbout the Program

The Online MBA Ukraine program prepares students to assume managerial positions in commercial, not-for-profit, and governmental organizations. This program is offered in partnership with the AACSB accredited Rohrer College of Business.

As such, it upholds a wide range of quality standards relating to curriculum, faculty resources, and intellectual climate. On average, students admitted to the Rowan University MBA program in academic year 2011/2012 had a 501 GMAT score and a 3.25 undergraduate GPA.


Program Curriculum

The Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a part-time program offered in an accelerated format. The MBA program consists of 12 graduate classes (36 s.h.) with 9 required (27 s.h.) and 3 elective (9 s.h.) courses. Two courses are scheduled per semester for six consecutive semesters resulting in possible degree completion in less than 24 months.

Program Format

A BLENDED curricular approach using the American online MBA content supplemented with live weekend seminars with leading Ukrainian and foreign business persons and content experts. The goal of which is to add expert insight into the Ukrainian business environment. Additionally, clients will have access to live in office classroom support from American visiting professors resident in Ukraine.

MASTER OF ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT (MEM)

Online MEMAbout the Program

The goal of the MEM is to effectively prepare engineers for management level positions. Students in this program receive knowledge of administrative procedures such as budgeting, strategic decision making, and supervising. Also, the combination of courses from Rowan’s ABET accredited College of Engineering and AACSB accredited Rohrer College of Business equips students with the ideal balance of advanced technical knowledge and managerial skills required to advance as managers.


Program Curriculum

The Master Of Engineering Management is a part-time program offered in an accelerated online format. This degree requires the completion of 30 graduate semester hours or 10 courses. Two courses are scheduled per semester for five consecutive semesters resulting in possible degree completion in less than 24 months.

M. S. in Finance 

About the Program

The Rowan University Online Master of Science in Finance is a rigorous program that combines quantitative techniques with practical experience. This program is designed to prepare students for financial analyst and financial planner positions in corporations and financial institutions. Rowan’s M.S. in Finance program will help prepare students for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP) exams, the premier certifications in the finance field.


Program Curriculum

The M.S. in Finance Online program at Rowan University requires the completion of 30 graduate semester hours (s.h.) made up of 10 courses. Students who have not completed a college level Economics course must complete Macroeconomics or Microeconomics. International students enrolled in the M.S. in Finance program must complete an additional course in Business English or Principles of Finance, (based upon a determination made by the faculty) for a total 33 graduate semester hours/11 courses. This course is completed during the student’s first summer in the program.
